Picapica processes photos in your browser and only sends data when you explicitly use network services such as share links or frame APIs.

Camera and Magic Effects

Magic Effects is optional. When you turn it on, camera frames are analyzed on your device to recognize supported hand gestures and body poses. Picapica does not upload those frames, body landmarks, or gesture coordinates.

Magic Effects uses Google MediaPipe Tasks. Google states that input data stays on device, while the SDK may send performance and usage metrics. See the MediaPipe privacy notice.

Your Magic Effects choices are stored in this browser. Uploaded sticker files are stored in your browser's local database and can be removed from the Customize panel or by clearing site data.
